New Commander for Long Island National Guard Aviation Support Company
Company B, 642nd Aviation Support Battalion, gained a new Commander on June 27, 2015. His name is Maj. Eric Fritz. He is a veteran of the War in Afghanistan, and a CH-47 Chinook helicopter pilot. The ceremony took place at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Ronkonkoma, NY. In the photo, taken in 2011, then-Capt.
