Army Ranger School to Graduate its First Female Students
Two female Soldiers will graduate from the Army’s Ranger School on Friday, August 21, 2015, becoming the first women to complete one of the U.S. military’s premier courses to develop elite fighters and leaders. Col. Scott Perry, assistant division commander, 28th Infantry Division, took his last flight on Thursday, August 13, 2015, from Muir Airfield on Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pa. Perry commanded the 2nd Battalion, 104th Aviation, in Iraq from 2009-2010 and served as a combat pilot in Black Hawk helicopters during that deployment.
