The transition to new Army Combat Uniforms will begin next month. However, Soldiers should expect a lot of mixing and matching of camo items for the next few years. The transitional phase will take place over four years, designed to save the Army and Soldiers money. The new uniforms will have the Army’s new Operational Camouflage Pattern and eight design changes, which include a fold down collar design, as well as a reduction to two pen pockets on the sleeve.
