New York Army National Guard Warrant Officer Meghan Polis, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Stephen Polis, are a father-daughter duo who are both assigned to Company B, 3rd Battalion, 142nd Assault Helicopter Battalion. Here in the photo they are in front of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter at Fort Drum, NY, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, before taking off together as a pilot in command and pilot team. It was the first time both National Guard members flew together as pilots.
