Arizona Guard Aviation Unit Returns Home from Kuwait

Soldiers of Detachment 1, B Co., 640th Aviation Support Battalion participated in their welcome home ceremony after a nine-month deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. The detachment’s nearly 60 soldiers provided aviation maintenance support for round the clock missions. Family and friends waited to officially welcome home their Soldiers at the ceremony on October 16, at Silverbell Army Heliport in Marana, Arizona.
