Members of the 6th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment and the 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment participated in a transfer of authority ceremony on February 9 at the 6-17th CAV Hangar on U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys. The ceremony was held in order to bid farewell to one unit and hello to another. Within the photos you will see Lt. Col. Aaron Martin and Command Sgt. Maj. Gerardo Gonzalez, the command team of the 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, uncase the squadron colors. The uncasing acts as the units official welcome to the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
