Loved ones gathered to show their support during a deployment ceremony as U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers prepare to deploy. The ceremony was held on February 15, 2015 at the Army Aviation flight facility at McEntire Joint National Guard base in Eastover, S.C. The ceremony recognized over 150 U.S. Soldiers leaving for almost a yearlong deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield under the 185th Theater Aviation Brigade. Around 20 U.S. Soldiers from the 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade, 151 Expeditionaly Signal Battalion, Charlie Company will deploy with the 351st Aviation Support Battalion.
