Oregon Army National Guard Helps Fire Suppression

oregonnatguard4Chief Warrant Officer 4 Dennis Cooper, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Logan Bass, pilots, and crew chief Spc. Beth Bechard, with Charlie Company, 7-158th Aviation, part of the Oregon Army National Guard, helped to drop water on target locations in support of fire suppression efforts at the Stouts Fire, on August 3, near Roseburg, Oregon. The Black Hawk helicopter is equipped with a bucket that can hold approximately 500 gallons of water.The Chinook is capable of holding up to 2,000 gallons of water. Great job, team!
