Honor Flight Network

HonorFlight1Soldiers from the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade were able to thank America’s veterans at Hunter Army Airfield, as the veterans left for an Honor Flight bus ride to go see memorials that were built to honor their service and sacrifice in our nation’s capital on May 1. The goal of the Honor Flight Network is to fly America’s veterans to Washington D.C. so that they can visit the memorials dedicated to honor their sacrifices in past wars. In one of the photos you can see First Sgt. Michael Leddick, of Savannah Army Recruiting Company, spending some time with Ga., native William Saville at Hunter Army Airfield.
