Family’s Long Journey Leads 3 Brothers to New Heights

bui1New Jersey Army National Guard Warrant Officers Tu Bui, Daniel Bui, and Alvin Bui, became the first three brothers to graduate on the same day from the U.S. Army Initial Rotary Wing Training course to become Army Aviators. Their father, Joseph Bui, served alongside American forces during the Vietnam War as an infantryman with the South Vietnamese Army. He brought his family to the United States in 1994 in search of better opportunities for his children. Joseph Bui shared a story from his time as an infantryman, stating that he once jumped from a U.S. Army helicopter to a rooftop for an assult during the Vietnam War.

What an amazing story! Congrats to all three Bui brothers.
