Brig. Gen. Scott Morcomb was promoted to the rank of brigadier general in a ceremony at Godman Army Airfield on Fort Knox, this past Saturday. Brig. Gen. Morcomb was quoted as saying “I was asked how do you become a General Officer? … Worry more about accomplishing the mission than about getting promoted. Worry more about the respect of the Soldiers that work for you and their trust, than what your boss thinks of you. Take care of your family, because without them none of this is worth it. And never lose your faith or passion….”
